The Community Foundation of Oyster Bay is a not-for-profit corporation that raises money to help fund a variety of local organizations chosen by its volunteer Board of Trustees for the charitable work they do to benefit local residents in need. We are a grassroots organization formed in 1965 by a group of concerned local residents and have helped fund a variety of social programs in the Oyster Bay community for more than 50 years.
The Community Foundation raises money for distribution to charitable, philanthropic and benevolent organizations that promote the welfare of residents in need living in Oyster Bay and surrounding neighborhoods. This is our sole mission.

Ways to Donate
Monetary Donation
Any monetary donation you can make will be put toward funding the charitable organizations in Oyster Bay.
Give From Your IRA
People who are age 70 ½ or older can donate funds from their IRA directly to a charity and avoid paying income taxes on the distribution. This is known as a qualified charitable distribution.
Annual Fund Contribution
The CFOB pools donations from neighbors like you to enable charitable organizations in our community to receive emergency grants in times of urgent need.
Name the CFOB in your Will
Your legacy can live on through a charitable gift to the CFOB in your will. Your charitable gift today will meet the needs of the Oyster Bay Community in the future.
Each year, 100% of all funds raised during our Annual Fund Drive go directly to the local organizations we support. All our donations come from our local community of supporters like you.
