Donation Options
Monetary Donation
$50 can provide emergency medication for someone without health coverage.
$100 can provide lunch for 25 seniors.
$250 can provide 2 counseling sessions for someone struggling with mental health issues.
$500 can provide groceries for a family of 4.
$1000 can provide a child with one month of summer camp.
$5000 can provide before and after school care for a child for one year.
Give From Your IRA
People who are age 70 ½ or older can donate funds from their IRA directly to a charity and avoid paying income taxes on the distribution. This is known as a qualified charitable distribution.
